In other news, Raf had a blast at Oktoberfest and in fine form got himself involved in biffo backing a mate up. Good work that man.
My beautiful girlfriend is visiting for a week during the midsemester break, so I'll be out drinking next weekend showing her the Perth nightlife. I've ranted about the perils of long distance relationships before, but we've been going out for about 14 months now, so things are pretty solid. Hopefully she'll be able to find work here for next year since she's applied for more than 10 teaching positions in Perth so far this month.
I'm really looking forward to the 3 months off over Summer. SS + K are going to Singapore for a wedding reception and holidaying, and since I was the best man I'm kinda disappointed that I won't be able to get the time off work to go with them. At my work, people have been working for 15 years in my department and book holidays over Christmas and New Years three years or so in advance. That really doesn't help me considering I've only worked there for 2 years. Another group of friends are going to Thailand for a few weeks over that period too. I would have loved to go to Thailand again as its just a cheap fantastic place and I love travelling and the perils that go with it sometimes.
Well, Raf's coming back in March so I'll have someone to drink with (read: get shitfaced with) then, and he can show off his amazingly nice girlfriend to everyone. Heh, how did two lowlifes like us end up with nice girls like Lidija and Anelia Raf?
Not much else going on then, but I'm pretty happy at the moment and looking forward to next week :D

Oh yeah
Trust me man, you just need to make that 3rd semester mark and then its smooth sailing from then on.And oh yes am I dying to come back in March and catch up with everyone, especially getting back on the piss with you, while the girls swap stories about how stupid we are when were drunk.
And damm straight am I going to show off Anelia to every single person I know, I am sure you have done the same thing with Lidija, and I dont care if that sounds dodgy Im doing it cos I can.
Ahhh the simple things in life.

Uni seems to get easier when you're not doing 1st year units. Or maybe they just brainwashed me in the right way for me to keep passing stuff (I handed something in the other day that was referenced properly. Fear.)
I finished my crocheted eye-patch, alas a bit to late for talk-like-a-pirate day. I'll wear it to work tomorrow and say there was a horrible accident instead.

and i don't think uni ever gets easy, but thats just me, i think you get better used to managing it tho, and anyone who tries to convince you that not going to classes is gonna somehow result in okay marks is just lying.
